The supergroup PEELA, led by Johannes Granroth, takes over the new Koko Jazz Club on Kapteeninkatu! In Peela's music, the styles of the African-American musical tradition fuse into a seamless whole, where playful improvisation, strong melodies, rich harmony and infectious rhythms play a central role. Their music is mainly instrumental, but is at times adorned by Maja Mannila's virtuosic vocals.
