KOKO ALL STAR BIG BAND Feat. Jukkis Uotila

Finland's leading musicians celebrate the opening of the new Koko Jazz Club on Kapteeninkatu – and, at the same time, the American jazz that arrived in our country a hundred years ago. Led by professor and drummer Jukkis Uotila, the Koko All Star Big Band is made up of top Finnish players who have gathered around the music they love. We will hear classics of the modern big band library by composers Thad Jones, Gil Evans, Bob Brookmeyer, Jim McNeely and Bob Mintzer. Expect a warm-hearted evening with surprise guests.
