In store is an evening of modern piano trio jazz, combining a New York touch with the seamless interplay of three musicians.Pianist extraordinaire Holger Marjamaa has built his career in New York, the beating heart of jazz, and the spirit of the city runs through his playing: dazzling technique, swing and immediacy. On double bass is the Estonian master Heikko Remmel, and on drums Jussi Lehtonen.The evening's program features Marjamaa's own compositions, arrangements of jazz originals, and interpretations from the Great American Songbook.
