Ystävysten lähes akustinen musisointi vie legenda Gaddin juurilleen Rochesteriin, jossa hän soitti rumpuja Dizzy Gillespien seurassa 11-vuotiaana. Siitä lähtien Gaddin rumpuja on äänitetty tuhansille raidoille, mm. Steely Dan, Chick Corea Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Weather Report ovat saaneet ripauksen mestarin taikaa.
